Ronald Dodd Gets 10 Years. Posted: Saturday, November 04, 2006 1 Hour 33 Minutes 53 Seconds Post Meridian Get me a can of gas and a shovel oh, and could ya do ten years too? Ronald Dodd got ten years in prison for essentially bringing Stephen Barbee a shovel so he could bury Lisa Underwood and her son Jayden. Well as you could guess. Shelia Underwood for whom has commented many times here on this blog, went off in the courtroom. She had a right to some answers and, to be pissed. The fact of the matter is, Stephen Barbee was the one who was responsible the murders. Everything else, absent hard evidence is hearsay. The reasons why it happened and what happened ultimately lie in the brain-spaces of Stephen Barbee and Lisa Underwood and one of those people, Lisa Underwood is now dead. Until Barbee’s automatic appeal of his death sentence the case is closed.. For now anyway.. Shelia Underwood said she would be at every parole hearing for Ronald Dodd. Well, if she is successful every time in helping to block his parole, In the year 2015 Ronald Dodd will get out of prison, if not sooner. Period. Until that day, Stephen Barbee may have been a shlub, adulterer, poor white trash or whatever he has been characterized as but not a murderer. What turned him into one? We can only speculate. Mr. Dodd conspired to commit murder and recieved a plea deal sentance of 10 yrs for tampering with physical evidence, but the family recieved a life sentance without there ONLY child and grandchild. I would be there at every parole too, to insure he spends as much time behind bars as possible!!He is a habitual criminal and was on probation and had another assault charge pending during this crime.Stephen Barbee also had a crimanal past that had been expunged from his record that the jury was unaware of as where many people who knew him.
