Arnold Schwarzenegger has lived up to his backbone and sided with the courts re: Stanly Williams or, Tookie Williams. Anyway he as not granted clemency and subsequently, Tookie Williams is dead.

Now, I have heard in the past few weeks all kinds of arguments stating that Tookie Williams did not commit the murders he is accused of. Well, lets assume that's true. What about the murders Tookie Williams did commit? Only he knows what those are. What about the murders the gang he helped commit? Well, only God knows about that.

If Tookie Williams redeemed himself, them he can die in peace. In any case. Its time to die.

Can You Feel It?

Over the weekend, the Iraqi people voted for third time, but this time around, they voted for a permanent government of their own choosing. There was gunfire coming from the police, celebratory gunfire that is. The people were happy and dancing in the streets proudly displaying purple fingers. People interviewed on TV were optimistic and hopeful.

The Iraqis face a potentially gridlocked government put together with fist-fight rough and tumble Iraqi style politics which is a furious mixture of secular and non-secular interests jockeying for position and power. And the beauty of all of this is the fact that this is what the Iraqis have chosen. They have the freedom to choose their new government imperfect as it is, it will represent the will of the Iraqi people.

Look at the faces of these people. You cant help but feel the excitement and joy these people feel. I cant understand why the Democrats cant see how significant this is. The New York Times however does. They published a story about the the President authorizing the tapping of phones of suspected terrorists. It was purposely timed as to divert attention away from this history making moment. As expected, The Democrats want equal rights for the Terrorists or as I'd like to call them Terro-Americans.

Its time for the Democrats, American Nay-Sayers all, to face the facts. There is a new Constitutional Democracy in the middle east. It is called Iraq. And if the 70% of the people in Iraq who voted it in have anything to say about it, it is here to stay.

Can you feel it? I can.

An Open Letter to Roger Toussaint and All Union Members

Let me fire some bullets at the NYC Transit workers and any actually all current union members out there.

  • This is not the 1920’s anymore. The very regulations for safety and other potpourri you wanted were not only granted but now stifle business and increase cost everywhere. The “shop floor” is highly regulated and in a lot of cases is the law. Forming a union to make the workplace safe is unnecessary. If the workplace is unsafe, go to any Democrat to be directed to the proper government agency to report it.
  • This is not the 1960’s anymore. You can’t get by with an 8th grade education and expect to be able to buy a house and support a family. Automation teamed up with third world countries to cheapen labor and eliminate many jobs. Consider a new career.
  • There is such a thing as a maximum amount your job is worth under any circumstances. With some jobs there is potential to reach perfection in execution. In the case of the Transportation Workers in New York, tell me, exactly how much better at driving a bus can you get after say, six months of doing it day in-day out? I am not attempting to denigrate the profession but what I am saying however that these jobs have a maximum value. When people come by to cut the grass in your lawn, don’t you have a maximum price you will pay for having it done and, beyond that you’ll find someone else? Consider your own job in the same light.

Some other points:

  • The unions are destroying their own industries by rendering the companies the work for incapable of competing. Mayor Bloomberg should look at Ronald Regan and what happened when the Air Traffic Controllers went on strike. He fired all of them and, we haven’t had any more infrastructure crippling problems since then
  • In order to stay competitive, I have to continuously learn new things. 20 years ago I did most of my programming in C and, a little Oracle under Unix and CP/M. Well, this is not the 80’s anymore. While my Unix skills might still be relevant, C has not been used for any good reason in quite a while and frankly, I have made a lot more money messing with SQLServer than Oracle. I digress. The point here is that I have to continuously learn or else get left behind. This goes for *any* profession, not just data processing.
  • As a software developer, I would not be able to to earn close to what your average bus driver earns if I did not go to college and continuously learn after that. (Tripped out isint it?)
  • We live in the information age. This is where the growth is. This is where things are happening. Its time to face reality, accept the maximum value of your job, educate yourself and if necessary, find a new career. The Honeymooners and The King of Queens are just TV shows. Driving something for a living does not get you the four bedroom house and the hot wife anymore.

It is time for Roger Toussaint president of the Transit Workers Union ( TWU Local 100 ) to do some time and as for the Transit Workers themselves who are striking, to find a new job. Leftist publications are now concentrating on the fact that Michael Bloomber is a billionaire and referred to them as thugs. So I suppose if Bloomberg was poor he could make that comment?

Earlier this week Tookie Williams was laid to rest at a beautiful ceremony usually reserved for royalty. I am exaggerating here but he did have a nice funeral though. celebrities, members of the Civil Rights Industry like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton spoke and it was covered by the media. You'd think they were burying the Pope.

They were actually, burying a convicted murderer who started an international street gang.

If killing people and founding a new street gang gets you the equivalent of a state funeral,  I wonder..

What kind of funeral will Clarence Thomas, Condoleezza Rice or Thomas Sowell have?

I wonder would Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Julian Bond stand up and talk about the amazing and productive lives these people lead? Will they talk about how their achievements show and prove that black people can succeed in America?

You know better.

They and/or their replacements in the future will piss on their graves when they die. They will speak at former Klu Klux Klan member Robert Byrds funeral because he is a Democrat though right?

Did they murder anyone? No. (Well, you could say that Colon Powell ordered troops to kill while in the army so maybe he gets some street cred for that) Did they create any gangs? No. Did they portray black women as bitches and skeezers (like the Civil Rights Industry has often portrayed Condoleezza Rice)? No.

What they did do however, is dare to think differently than mainstream blacks and as a result have succeeded far beyond what most blacks think is possible for themselves. When it happens once again it will be revealed that the NAACP is not about minding the rights of black people, its about Democrat socialist poilitcs. Watch.

On a side note, I suppose Brian Nichols will get an even bigger funeral. After all, he killed a judge right?
