Profiles in ignorance presents: The madam of parliamentary procedure, Monica Conyers.

If you were to listen to her speak and not know who she was or, who she was married to (and subsequently probably the only way she would have any of the positions she now has) you'd think she was just another sista from da hood.

• Recently she has allegedly threatened an aide with a gun, (even if she didn't, nobody would put it past her would they?)

• The then spoke of 'all these women' who were trying to 'marry her husband'. What kind of foolishness? As I said before, if you didn't know who she was, you'd think you were in the beauty shop.
• She referred to the President of city council as 'Shrek'.
• She even defended her actions to an eighth grader who subsequently put her in check. Sweet.

• She punched a woman in a bar, allegedly giving her a black eye.
• When the Kwame Kilpatrick scandal broke, she initially called for an investigation but then, suddenly changed direction, supporting the mayor or at least trying to 'appear neutral'

Now Monica Conyers, and her staff have accused basically the world of bullying her and using the excuse that she was bullied in school for her actions.

Really.

Now, if there was one 'gaffe' or 'incident' it would probably go away. At what point however, does it become apparent that there is a destructive pattern of bad behavior?

As for John Conyers, can you imagine his embarrassment being married to her? Prison has got to be better than that.

She is an embarrassment to the city of Detroit. Usually its an ignorant black man who appears on the radar screen. However, today its an ignorant black woman who has made regional and national news by acting a fool.

This morning George W. Bush gave a speech stating that negotiating with terrorists regimes or organizations is tantamount to the appeasement of Adolf Hitler before World War II.

He's right.

Barack Obama, however seems to think differently, stating that he would talk with Ahmadinejad without preconditions. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is charismatic, intelligent and also, a madman and something tells me, especially after his visit to Columbia University that speaking with him directly about anything would be counter productive at best.

Now the Democrats have come out in force, excoriating the president for making this statement. Usually when the Democrats excoriate the president, he means that he hit a home run.

Barack Obama is the Neville Chamberlain of our time.

Once again, another crooked Dallas politician was outed and as usual, the black community turns a blind eye.

Benign as he may be, James Fantroy is a crook.

Briefly, while in charge of funds at Paul Quinn College, James Fantroy stole almost $20,000. The school when they found out, was more than accommodating trying to 'fix' the problem internally. Repeated requests for James Fantroy to explain himself resulted in nothing. He did try to pay the money back, but only after he got caught.

He said he was innocent. Are you kidding? There were copies of the checks on record. Indisputable evidence. He's about as innocent as Lynn Flint Shaw was.

I saw on TV the judge told him to admit guilt in public or serve 180 days in jail. Do you know what he said?

"Why shouldn't I spend my last days in jail if I believe in something? Why did Dr. King spend those days in jail? Because he believed in something."

What the hell? He believes in illegally taking twenty grand? Now lets tell it the way it is. If he was white, every black in the city would be piling on, carrying a noose and ready to watch him get his. James Fantroy is black. As a result, the reaction has been similar to what Tennell Atkins, his successor said: 

"He's his own man and his own person, and you've got to commend him for that. He's standing by what he said and what he believes, and he deserved a pat on the back for that."

That has to be in the top 100 most foolish things I have heard in a while. I wonder what kind of foolishness flew out of his mouth at Al Lipscomb's trial.

With the insane running the asylum, or at least infiltrating it at many levels Dallas is quickly becoming Atlanta or heaven forbid, Detroit.
