Michael Jackson Verdict: INNOCENT

Michael Jackson has been found innocent of molestation. Its time for Michael to get some help.

Yesterday on CNN I saw the results of the Terry Schiavo Autopsy. It would seem that everything that Michael Schiavo said while theres no way to validate it, cant be refuted either. So now, it would seem that her parents, Bob Schindler and Mary Schindler, are still looking at some way to punish Michael Schiavo for what on the surface anyway looks like the tragic results of their daughters own self-destructive behavior. There was no evidence of any trauma at all. He didn't hit her, he didn't choke her. Now the Schindlers are asking why did Michael Schiavo take so long to call 911. Who knows what happened 20 years ago? We have all made  Come on now. The ten minutes of fame are up. Michael Schiavo has already moved on. Its time for Bob and Mary Schindler to do the same. Rest in peace Terry, if you are reading this, try to motivate your parents to peace as well.

Edgar Ray Killen has been found guilty on three counts of manslaughter. The Klansman, former preacher and sawmill operator faces twenty years of prison for each count. While they cant place him at the scene of the murders, they did however, find that he was the mastermind of the murders. It looks like after roughly forty years, there was a little justice for James Chaney, 21, Andrew Goodman, 20, and Michael Schwerner, 24.

What I hope is that the Civil Rights Industry will acknowledge the justice done today without useless rhetoric about slavery or other hyperbolic foolishness in the year 2005.

The Supreme Court has ruled that makers of software that can be used for the sharing and/or distribution of copyrighted software can be sued by content providers.

Washington (Houston) we have a problem.

The big issue for me are the constraints (or lack thereof) on what is considered "software that can be used to copy copyrighted material". I wonder if anyone has wondered if we could consider Windows, Unix or Linux, with their capabilities of copying software as platform for copying? The operating system alone has the capability to do this natively.

I think that the issues with services or software used to distribute files should be handled on a case by case basis. I doubt if the people making the laws are as techno-savvy as the people making the software or the people using it.
