So I looked at Memin Pinguin this morning. I was sent an article about. It cracked me up. But not for the reasons you may think it did.

Memin Pinguin originally published in the 1960s in Mexico, was recently revived and available in Wal-Mart here in the United States.  It has historically been a very popular comic book in Mexico and Latin America. It has sold millions of copies. Guess what? Its actually about a poor Cuban boy. But really who cares right?

Its time for Quanell X and the rest of the so-called black leadership to march from point A to point B and see what happens. Oh and we also need to set up stands along the route and sell mix-tapes like they did while protesting the Jena-6.

Now of course everyone is saying Memin Pinguin is racist because of his appearance and of course of how he is treated by everyone lighter than he is. He gets called all kinds of 'Negro' this and that. He gets kicked around quite a bit especially in the early comics.

Recently Mexico issued a stamp honoring the scrappy little character and of course there were protests.

Question, is it really racist? If you talk to many black leaders and look in the media you'll find that in actuality Black America portrays itself as being a victim of racism every day. From birth they are told by their parents they are second class citizens and that the white man is out to get them.

It would seem that Memin Pinguin is no different right? So instead of getting upset why not honor Memin Pinguin. Lets give copies of Memin Pinguin to all black children so they can understand how bleak their future is going to be. It would save the black leaders a lot of time they could otherwise spend on filing lawsuits and collecting money.

This is how black leaders (Read: Black Liberals) and White Liberals want black people to think of themselves: Victims. As a matter of fact, this is not only how black people see themselves its how they want to see themselves. With that in mind, how is this a problem?

Tell Me: With Blacks portraying themselves as victims, why is this comic book a problem? Why is it not required reading to prepare young blacks for the racism to come?

This time around its because fellow Dallas County commissioner Kenneth Mayfield used the term Black Hole in a sentence. He basically said:  it seemed that central collections 'has become a black hole' because documentation had become missing. When he did, John Wiley Price corrected Kenneth Mayfield by stating its a 'White Hole' and later said that too many negative things have been associated with 'Black'.

Really now. This is stupid. Now Kenneth Mayfield is a racist? Dare I say that perhaps John Wiley Price hasn't changed at all. Perhaps he is still a racist himself. I wish I was as old as he is, so I could grasp the anger that motivates this kind of foolishness to occur. I'm not. And I personally am glad.

This article written by Dr. Henrie M. Treadwell was brought to my attention last weekend. When saw the title, "Millions of African Americans Will Be Disenfranchised on Election Day" I thought this was something about polling places, public transportation or something remotely valid.

No, she is are talking about voting rights for felons. I went ahead and read this foolishness with an open mind. Then my eyes began to roll backwards.

Here is an excerpt.

Nationwide there are several million people who are ineligible to vote because of various state laws that restrict voting by ex-felons released from prison. If those currently serving time for felony convictions are added to ex-felons released from prison a total of 5.3 million people won't be allowed to vote. Clearly, this disenfranchisement could impact the outcome of the election since the vote in swing states will be close. This could hurt Obama because a disproportionate number of ex-felons are African Americans and blacks have overwhelmingly supported his campaign.

In Florida, another key state in November, 1,089,911 people can't vote because the state places voting restrictions on ex-felons released from prison, as well as those on probation and parole. There are also a number of disenfranchised ex-felons in other key states, such as: New Jersey (99,136), North Carolina (37,352), Georgia (232,972), Louisiana (59,971), New Mexico (10,955), Colorado (6,920), Missouri (60,428) and Nevada (32,440).

 Read it again. She is actually saying that millions of people will not be able to vote because they are felons. She then says that because the majority of them are black that this could hurt Barack Obama.

What this sounds like is "Barack Obama must win at all costs." Now the people have passed laws stating that if you have no intention on obeying the laws then you shouldn't pick the lawmakers.

Committing a felony is pretty serious business. I don't care what or why you did it.

I read this article and became incensed. At the time of this writing I have managed to live 40 years without committing a felony. Millions of other blacks have managed to do the same. So I am going to make a bold assumption here that its possible for African Americans to live without committing felonies. The same applies to white people. With this in mind they simply are not being disenfranchised and this argument is intellectually bankrupt.

What is society to do? Activists in the hood say they want drugs off the streets. The police arrest and convict people involved in the trade. Then, when the jails fill up they complain again stating that too many of us are in prison. You cant please some people.

I am not going to sit here and say that some drug laws were not designed to target blacks. Well, guess what, drugs are destroying black society, so perhaps getting those people off the streets are a good thing.

If you know the deck is stacked against you to that degree then there is a quick and easy solution. Try not committing crimes and/or buying and selling drugs. It is possible.

Instead of launching this "Felons for Obama Campaign", why not publish an article in the newspapers warning blacks not to engage in felonious activity so they can vote in the fall.

Nah, that might be a productive use of your time now wouldn't it?

One of my favorite radio personalities (behind Rush Limbaugh and Howard Stern) is Russ Martin.

Well last week he went nanners. Here come the bullets as fired from an affidavit.

• He got mad at his fiance because she didn't follow up with an IRS agent about a package dilevery.
• He came home, pissed and asked her to come down stairs.
• When she didn't, he tore up a desk, assaulted her, pushing her against a wall and, ripping her hair out.
• Marks on her body and head are consistent with this according to the police.
• He then got a pistol, loaded it, cocked it and started pacing the kitchen floor.

Well, if this is true, Russ Martin is a pussy for beating up a woman. I mean women get beat up by their felon boyfriends in Pleasant Grove daily where he grew up but he is not in Tha MotherFuckin Grove no mo.

My prediction: He will pay her off six figures and all of this goes away.

So the excuse making begins, Russ Martin's show starts off with a recording of him talking to his doctor about his medications. Nice.

He should have said he was from Pleasant Grove. Thats more plausable.. LOL. Russ of course is nowhere to be found.

Question: Why is Robert Novack hitting a pedestrian front page news and John Edwards having a possible affair and baby not news?

James Fantroy got out of jail. He still denies he did anything wrong. I have got to start taking whatever it is he is taking these days to escape reality because a stiff drink and a vacation is not getting me where his mind is.

Demetris McCoy has been sentenced to eight years in prison for giving his two year old and four year old nephews marijuana to smoke. Justice has been served.

Stupid.

My Brother still drinks the Barack Obama Kool Aid in spite of allot of obvious and indisputable facts about him.

He tells me that he wishes I was 50, so I could have had "The Black Experience". When I think about it, that was an offensive and unkind thing to say or wish on anyone. The reason why I feel that way however, is not as obvious as it may seem.

Why would anyone want to wish going through the Civil Rights Movement on anyone? I do not have a desire to be discriminated against or watch the fire hoses of the Democrats in the south on the news every day.

Is it going to make me thankful for what I have? No. I am already thankful for everything I have and the freedoms I enjoy. I have been too close to losing all of them too many times.

I'll tell you what The Black Experience has done to many of my friends. It has put on them a terrible and in the year 2008 largely unnecessary burden they carry with them everywhere they go. I cant imagine what their days must be like. Here are some other things I cant imagine:

• I cant imagine walking around questioning the motives of everyone I see that doesn't look like me.
• I cant imagine branding people racist just because they don't understand me or ask me stupid questions out of nothing more than ignorance.
• I cant imagine using the word "White Folks" in a sentence hundreds of times per day.
• For the uneducated, beleiving that the government is out to get them and created the AIDS virus and other foolishness Jeremiah Wright and Kanye West told them through the pulpit or song.
• I cant imagine blaming my failures on an invisible and almost non-existent enemy. If its my fault, at least I can fix it.
• I cant imagine hating people who look like me just because they are conservative but loving people who commit felonies.
• I cant imagine living in fear of people who don't know me or even know of me.
• I cant image transferring this burden to my children and having them grow up with it.

No, I don't want to be born in and around 1960. I don't want to have The Black Experience. That's an experience I can do without. Its a burden I don't need. I know the intent was to get me to see things from their point of view but who in his right mind wants to look at the world through a lens so jaded?

Even though I don't want Barack Obama to be president, I thank God every day I live in a country where its possible for him to be president.
