The Menace in the Floodwaters of New Orleans

I have been looking at New Orleans, the devastation, the despair and a few rays of hope that are beginning to appear as a result of the daunting task of getting these people out of there and, on to new jobs and lives.

It has barely been a week and already the Civil Rights Industry is on the scene, making false accusations and, securing their jobs as "Black Leaders" for another year or so.

I am looking at CNN over the weekend and see who else, but Jesse Jackson. He alleges that racism played a part in some of the delays, perceived or otherwise in getting people out. Others are saying that the government should have helped people leave. I can see this great government conspiracy cant you?

There is a problem with this theory though.

There is a nuisance lurking in the depths of the streets of New Orleans. A threat that destroys most of the boats that come against it. This threat is even in the poorest of neighborhoods.

They are of course, Cars.

One thing I see every time I look at flooded homes are cars in the water. How can this be? I thought these people couldn't get themselves out?? Who owns these cars in the water and subsequently the 20 inch rims on them? I'll tell you who, the citizens of New Orleans own them. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that a majority of those cars ran fine the day of the storm.

Could it possibly be that people of a certain race chose not to leave New Orleans and got caught with their pants down and not racism?

Something to think about.

Howard Dean Accomplishes Nothing

I was looking at CNN yesterday and saw just days after Jesse Jackson submit new orders for rhetoric to the Civil Rights Industry Howard Dean is making a speech saying that race and economic status played a role in the delays in getting aid to the the hurricane victims.

The problem is Howard Dean is preaching to the choir.

90% of African Americans vote for Democrats anyway so, getting them riled up is not going to change anything. African Americans have historically voted for Democrats and for the foreseeable future, always will as they are controlled and manipulated by the Civil Rights Industry.

With that in mind, what has Howard Dean and Jesse Jackson really done? Nothing.

George W. Bush's Slave Owner Mentality

The other day I was waiting for the train. There were Hurricane Katrina survivors there getting around and, talk of Hurricane Katrina subjects. As an experiment to make sure that the Democratic Party was still frimly in control I threw out the following statement:

"Well, you know that George W. Bush's grandfather Prescott Bush used to own slaves, that's why they have the slave owner mentality!"

Not only is this not true, inflammatory and libel but also really off topic. Not only is this not true, but he was born after abolition. Its impossible.

It still didn't matter.

"Yeah that's right! I knew it!" and other phrases like it came from a few people waiting for the train. Instantly they ignored my laptop bag (and the urge to jack me in broad daylight) my pressed shirt, slacks, and cufflinks and took me in as one of their own.

It goes to show you, it doesn't matter what you say. As long as its anti-right, the Blacks will believe it.

Question: How many of you black people who read that statement initially believed it?

One thing I noticed about 50 Cent was that just before he had a new CD of some kind, 50 Cent has differences or "beef" with someone. It really didn't matter who it was. He was in the news and on everybody's mind. The CD's flew off the shelves as everyone clamored to find out what he was going to say/do next.

Kanye West decided to go on a tear about George W. Bush saying "George Bush does not care about black people".

Well now Kanye West has beef with George W. Bush. He is in the news and the topic of conversation, just like 50 Cent.

Now in a previous article I talked about how you can tell black people practically anything and they will believe it as long as its anti-right. This is no different. All it does is take people who are already ignorant of the facts and continue to keep them that way. The Civil Rights Industry will benefit from this tirade in the press. Howard Dean and Jesse Jackson are already parroting him.

Meanwhile nobody (black) has criticized the mayor or the governor, and they wont because they are minorities (black mayor, female governor) for their failures. As usual, the Civil Rights Industry looks for the nearest Republican and pins the failure on them and of course says its racism. Sweet plan but predictable.

I saw on CNN about 300 school buses that could have been used to move the poor out of the city. These assets of the city could have been filled with fuel, filled with people and moved out of the city somewhere. Instead, just like all the cars I saw in the water in these poor neighborhoods, these busses are under water and probably a total loss.

I suppose the mayor Ray Nagin "Doesn't care about black people" and governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco "Doesn't care about black people"

That's not true. If your black, these democrats are incapable of mistakes. Period. I am sure blacks will vote for Kathleen Blanco in droves. They will also vote for Robert Byrd too, just because they are Democrats.

A friend of mine sent a doctored picture of Bush 41 and Bush 43 fishing amongst the flood waters in New Orleans with a comment stating that "this is probably something they would do". I replied to her: Ignorant black people all over the world will love this one.

I took the message and replied: "Did you know that George W. Bush's grandfather Prescott Bush used to own slaves? That's why he has the slave owner mentality."

Everyone please note how this is completely off topic. However, if you are fishing for anti-Bush ignorance, its easy to get a bite:

Donna Brazile: Sellout #1!

Donna Brazile has lost her mind. Actually she hasn't but to a liberal and especially a black one, she has doomed the Black race to slavery. (not really but you know how the rhetoric goes)

Saturday, Donna Brazile unloaded on the President. Read on.

"New Orleans is my hometown. It is the place where I grew up, where my family still lives. For me, it is a place of comfort and memories. It is home.

Now my home needs your help, and the help of every American. Much of my city is still underwater. Its historical buildings have been wrecked, its famous streets turned to rivers and, worst of all, so many of its wonderful people -- including members of my own family and my neighbors -- have lost everything.

On Thursday night President Bush spoke to the nation from my city. I am not a Republican. I did not vote for George W. Bush -- in fact, I worked pretty hard against him in 2000 and 2004. But on Thursday night, after watching him speak from the heart, I could not have been prouder of the president and the plan he outlined to empower those who lost everything and to rebuild the Gulf Coast.

Bush called on every American to stand up and support the rebuilding of the region. He told us that New Orleans and the entire Gulf Coast would rise from the ruins stronger than before. He enunciated something that we all need to remember: This is America. We are not immune to tragedy here, but we are strong because of our industriousness, our ingenuity and, most important, because of our compassion for one another. We are a nation of rebuilders and a nation of givers. We do not give up in the face of tragedy, we stand up, and we reach out to help those who cannot stand up on their own.

The president called on every American to reach out to my neighbors in New Orleans and throughout the Gulf Coast. The great people of this country have already opened their hearts in the immediate aftermath of the storm, and their tremendous generosity has done more than just provide extra comfort -- it has saved lives. Now the crisis of survival is over. But the task of rebuilding remains, and the president made it clear that every single one of us has a role to play.

Each of us belongs to some group -- a church, a union or a fraternal organization, or even a book club -- that can make a difference. It is those groups that can pool resources and then reach out to their counterparts in the stricken states and ask, "What can we do?" Schools, Girl Scout troops, Rotary clubs -- this is the time for every community group to step forward to lend a helping hand. We need it.

The president also laid out the federal government's goal for rebuilding. It is unprecedented in its scope and ambition, matching destruction that is unprecedented as well. He made the challenge clear: This will be one of the biggest reconstruction projects in history. But he also made it clear that we can and will do this. New Orleans, Biloxi, all of the Gulf Coast will rise again. And the residents are ready to pitch in and do their part.

I know, maybe better than anyone, that there are times when it seems that our nation is too divided ever to heal. There are times when we feel so different from each other that we can hardly believe that we are all part of the same family. But we are one nation. We are a family. And this is what we do. When the president asked us to pitch in Thursday night, he wasn't really asking us to do anything spectacular. He was asking us to be Americans, and to do what Americans always do.

The president has set a national goal and defined a national purpose. This is something I believe with all my heart: When we are united, nothing can stop us. We will not waver, we will not tire, and we will not stop until the streets are clean, every last brick has been replaced and every last family has its home back.

Bush talked about how we bury our family and friends. We grieve and mourn. We march to a solemn song and then we rejoice and step out and form the second line. That line is now open to every American to join us in rebuilding a great region of this country. New Orleans will rise again. My hometown is down but not out, and with the help of every American, it will be back on its feet, bigger and brighter than ever.

Mr. President, I am ready for duty. I am ready to stir those old pots again. Let's roll up our sleeves and get to work."

Donna Brazile, former consultant to the Algore campaign in 2000.

What? If what this former Algore staffer says is true, then George W. Bush cares about Black people? Could Kayne West be wrong? Perhaps Donna Brazile has turned on her people and sold them out. Yeah, that's it.

John Roberts has been sworn in as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. With the number of Democrats that voted for him, it shows that there are some Democrats that have some sense. The last thing we need is an activist judge in the Supreme Court.
