I have been a fan of Michael Jackson for years. Correction: Decades.

For years he has entertained me with his music, dancing, and eccentric behavior. Hey, its Mike. When your that good, you can do weird stuff. Now however, I am breaking ranks with the rest of my generation and saying the following:

Michael Jackson has a problem and it seems to be with little boys. Now, my take on it is a little different than the prevailing thoughts that seem to be out there though.

Fan or not, I don't see Michael Jackson as a your usual sphincter pounding pedophile. I do however see him as having misplaced genuine affection for children that needs to stop. I think that he doesn't see what he is doing as wrong in the slightest because in his mind its just love for children. I think there is a sickness there that can be addressed with counseling and perhaps a little jail time. The first time it happened, I figured it was another attempt to get money from Michael. But now, there are too many alleged incidents to turn a blind eye to what could be a serious problem with Michael.

Boy Scout leaders, coaches, pastors and many other men have frequent close-quarters contact with children for years without charges being filed. Ask yourself how do these people that work with children go for decades without a single charge being filed?

Its time for Michael Jackson, his parents, and his fans to stop denying that there is no problem here.
