Harry Stonecipher: rushroom.com (What You Should Think)

Boeing really got me to thinking the other day. After the pentagon scandal last year, Boeing called up Harry Stonecipher from the bench (retirement) to clean up the company and its image.

I also remember a time, after Iran Contra that another dynamic chief executive came in to clean up Washington D.C. I wonder who was better?

The Tail and Two Chief Executives:
	Harry Stonecipher	Bill Clinton	Advantage
Highest Office Achieved:	Boeing CEO	President of the United States	Cleetus by a landslide, the job doesn't pay much but you get two 747's to fly in.
My Mission:	I am going to clean up Boeing's image and make it the most ethical company.	"[I am going to have the most ethical administration ever.]"	Stonecipher didn't have a bunch of people in his administration go to jail. The old CEO gets the nod on this one.
The Oath:	"I [insert name here] will not do anything to embarrass Boeing"	"I did not have sex with that woman.."	Tie: Both were hypocrites.
The Booty:	A promising female executive.	Monica Lewinsky a promising, well, hoe.	Clinton gets this category. The executive has a regular job and not that much time. Lewinsky has nothing else to do but get better at her job skillz.
Getting Caught:	Lewd E-Mail	Lewd Phone Calls	Cleetus once again trumps the old man. Text is one thing, but when you can hear it, its even better.
The Boot:	The Board of Directors demanded his resignation.	Congress impeached him	Advantage Bill. There is no better way to get ousted than a good old fashioned congressional lynching. Clarence Thomas must have been laughing.
The Apology:	"I didn't live up to my own standards"	"I did it because I could."	Like Richard Nixon, Stonecipher had shame, took it like a man and resigned before more embarrassment went down.

The Winner: Clinton blows by Stonecipher.

Boeings, new CEO James A. Bell is black. Jesse Jackson, Julian Bond and Al Sharpton have cancelled glass ceiling protests and were not available for comment.
