Lewis Libby was indicted. Like many in the Clinton Administration, he was not indicted on anything related to the scandal at hand (outing Valerie Plame) but for inconsistencies in his testimony before the grand jury and the FBI.

To quote William Shatner in "Star Trek II the Wrath of Kahn": "So far you've managed to kill (indict) everyone else but like a poor marksman you keep missing the target!"

Karl Rove was the target and they will stop at nothing until they get their quarry. It looks like however, that Libby will be dropped in the grease for this one, insulating both Dick Cheney and Karl Rove from harm, at least for now anyway.

Now this is what is interesting. Even though Rove has been investigated, has testified and not been indicted and Scooter Libby was indicted for something other than outing Valerie Plame, Harry Reid still wants Karl Rove to either resign or, for George W. Bush to fire him for what? You guessed it! Outing Valerie Plame.

Samuel Alito has been nominated to the Supreme Court. If confirmed  I am going to predict now, he will divide the country, will bring back slavery, kill minorities with his bare hands. Fling the broken, dead bodies of immigrant children across the border using catapults and impose a new world order that will oppress everyone and everything except white Catholic males.

That is of course, if you listen to the liberals and the Civil Rights Industry.

If the liberals were looking for something else to do besides Scooter Libby, then they have found it. In spite of all of this and what I predict will be a half-assed XSLT translation of "Robert Bork's America" into "Samuel Alito's America" by Ted Kennedy, the very capable Alito will be confirmed by around sixty votes or so.

This will tip the court 5-4 in favor of sanity.
